I have continued to watch the coverage of China’s struggle after not only the devestating quake, but also numerous massive aftershocks – aftershocks that are strong enough that they would garner news attention if they occurred here in the States. In one town there were over 1 millions homes damaged or destroyed. When you think about the fact there are numerous people, sometimes numerous families living in one home, you get some idea of the amount of displaced people.
On to a lighter topic. The girls were telling me what they wanted to be when the grew up. JB said she wanted to be a chef and then a builder. I turned to EB and asked her what she would like to be. She gives me the dumb mom look and informs that she is going to be a princess. She does concede that she might be a fairy sometime, but she is definitely going to be a princess. OK honey.
