Yes, I changed the look a little bit

Well, I found one of my friend’s blogs and it was gorgeous.  She had done all this wonderful customization.  I wanted one just like it.  I went over to her blog host and tried to set one up – misery.  I could not figure out how to do it.  I may try again, but for right now I just settled for changing my template.  I hope you like the new look.  Nothing dramatic, just a little fun.

Cast is off!!!!!!!!!!!

Great news – I have a little girl that now wears 2 shoes instead of 1 shoe and a cast!  She is very proud of the fact that she got it off before her class play which is Thursday.  Her ankle is quite stiff, the calf muscle has some atrophy, and she still limps, but knowing her, all will be back to normal in no time at all.  I am hesitant to talk to her about her limp because the doctor encouraged us to keep her activity down a little for the next couple of weeks.  So I may have her do some passive exercises to get the joint loosened up, but let her take her own sweet time in getting moving back to full speed.

EB continues to change and grow in her acceptance of us and her ability to give and recieve physical affection.  Last night she laid down on the couch between DH and myself and let me rub her feet, then turned around so that she was leaning against me and held my arm around her and “nibbled” on my arm and kept giving it kisses.  This morning she stopped mid temper tantrum, asked for a kiss, started the tantrum again and headed out the door to the babysitter’s house.  I am so proud of her growth.  She is an amazing little girl.  I had to laugh at her Saturday night.  My cousins came over for dinner.  EB is convinced the my cousin married her husband just so that he would be in the family and at her beck and call.  He was teasing her about something and she gave him an eye-roll and look that would rival any 16 year old.  All we could do was laugh, but we are seriously in so much trouble in the future.

Speaking of what is in store for the future.  Check these photos out of the girls after they had gone to a “make over” party at one of Jessica’s classmate’s house.
